WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging services in the world, and today FreedomPop announced a rate plan that’ll give you unlimited WhatsApp usage for free.
The new WhatsApp SIM from FreedomPop includes 100 voice minutes, 200MB of data, and unlimited WhatsApp usage on Android and iOS devices. The price? Free. What’s more that unlimited WhatsApp usage is available in 31 different countries, including the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, Portugal, and Italy.

With just 200MB of data and 100 voice minutes, FreedomPop’s new zero-rated WhatsApp plan isn’t going to be for everyone. WhatsApp is an extremely popular service, though, and there are probably some folks that use it for the vast majority of their conversations. For them, this new FreedomPop plan could be an interesting way to cut spending on their cellphone bill each month.
