Last month, BlackBerry officially took the wraps off of the DTEK50, it’s new Android phone with an affordable price tag. If you’re interested in something a bit more high-end but you still want to save cash, though, BlackBerry today kicked off a sale on the Priv.
From August 11 through August 31, BlackBerry is offering a discount on the unlocked Priv. The Android-powered slider is getting a $150 discount in the U.S., which leaves it at a price of $499.00. Buyers in Canada will pony up $650 CAD, down from the Priv’s regular asking price of $899 CAD.
While this isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen on the BlackBerry Priv, the sales that we typically see on the Priv are from third-party retailers. This new deal is being offered by BlackBerry itself, so if you’d prefer buying your expensive new smartphone directly from the company that made it, this is the deal for you.
You can find the BlackBerry Priv in the U.S. and Canadian stores at the links below.
