Verizon has kicked off a new promotion that’s all about trade-ins.
Starting today, July 1, you can trade a phone in to Verizon and get up to $300 for it. The phone must be in good working condition, but Verizon says that if you’re going to buy a DROID Turbo 2 or DROID Maxx 2, it’ll accept a phone with a cracked screen.
It’s also worth noting that only select phones will get you the full $300 trade-in value. Those are the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, HTC One M9, LG G4, LG V10, and iPhone 6.
This offer is good to both new and existing Verizon customers. New customers will get a gift card for their phone’s trade-in value, while existing customers will get an account credit. No matter which kind of customer you are, though, you’ll need to activate a new device payment plan or upgrade your current line to get the deal.
The devices that are eligible to be bought with your trade-in credit are:
iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, HTC 10, LG G5, Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Motorola DROID Turbo 2, Motorola DROID Maxx 2
Verizon also says that it’ll give you up to $650 to pay off your old phone or contract when you switch to Verizon and trade in your old phone for a new one. Both this deal and the trade-in offer will be available for a limited time.
