Lots of people in the U.S. will be hanging outside and grilling this weekend for the Fourth of July, and Google wants to help those people make their get-togethers even better with some free music.
Google is now running a promotion that’ll give you four months of Google Play Music Unlimited for free. To get it, just go here, sign into your Google account, and sign up. Once your four months are up, you’ll be asked to pay $9.99 per month to continue your subscription, but you can also cancel before your trial ends to avoid that monthly fee.
There is a catch, though. This deal is only for new subscribers, meaning that if you’ve signed up for Google Play Music before, you can’t get this deal. Interestingly, some Slick Deals users that have previously had free trials of Google Play Music are still able to take advantage of this new offer, so it may be that only anyone that’s actually payed for a Play Music subscription are ineligible.
Also worth noting is that a Google Play Music Unlimited subscription includes YouTube Red, so if you do sign up for this four-month free trial, you’ll get ad-free YouTube with it.
Getting four months of free access to a music streaming service like Google Play Music is a pretty sweet deal on its own, but this promotion is made even better by the fact that you get ad-free YouTube with it. So if you’re eligible for this deal, you may want to go ahead and sign up. It’s only available for this weekend, so you’d better hurry.
