One month after Samsung introduced the Batman-ified Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition, another special GS7 edge has leaked out.
Images that show the Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition have been shared by Evan Blass. As you might expect, it’s a Galaxy S7 edge that features Olympic branding, with the Olympic Games’ five rings tattooed on its backside. The same blue used for those rings also surrounds the rear camera and flash, while the front of the phone features gold accents on the earpiece and home button. We can also see that the power button is red and the volume buttons are green which, when combined with the phone's black body, make up the five colors of the Olympic rings.

There’s no word on when this Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition might launch or how much it’ll cost when it does. Considering that the 2016 Olympics start on August 5, though, it seems reasonable to think that Samsung will release this phone before that date. It’s rumored that when it does launch, the GS7 edge Olympic Edition will include a VR content bundle and perhaps even a Gear VR, just like the GS7 edge Injustice Edition.
Samsung is no stranger to launching special editions of its phones, and because Samsung is also a major partner of the Olympics, it’s not terribly surprising to learn that a special Olympic GS7 edge is in the works. And while this special handset may not have quite as much nerdy cool factor as the Batman-ified GS7 edge Injustice Edition, it’s still attractive as a device that likely won’t be widely available.
