Nextbit Robin owners, a new update is coming your way.
Nextbit is now pushing its June software update to the Robin, complete with the latest Android security patches. Perhaps the most major change with this update is a revamped speaker volume, which comes after the audio enhancements that Nextbit made in May. With this revamp, the minimum volume is software and as you increase the volume, you’ll get a much more linear progression.
In other audio news, Nextbit has included two custom ringtones — “Patricia” by Lauren Loh Sung and “Breeze” by Giraffage — in the ringtone pack. Rounding out today’s update is a camera-related fix that’ll improve the stability of sharing photos to the Line app.
While this update may not be quite as exciting as the Android 6.0.1 update that hit the Robin in April, it is good to see Nextbit keeping the Robin up-to-date with security patches. And hey, if you’ve been on the fence about that $299.99 Nextbit Robin deal on Amazon, you now know that Nextbit is serious about keeping its flagship phone secure.
