If you’re a US resident that’s lucky enough to already have an unlocked HTC 10 in your hands, then HTC’s got some shiny new software for you today.
HTC is now pushing an update to the unlocked HTC 10 models in the US. The update is 394MB in size and adds camera performance and Wi-Fi stability enhancements as well as improvements to the system stability.
Once you’re updated, you should find yourself on software version 1.53.617.5. If you’ve got an unlocked HTC 10 in the US and haven’t yet gotten the update, you can check for it manually by jumping into your Settings app and go to “System update.”
When HTC announced the 10, it touted that its new flagship had received a very high rating from the camera-analyzing folks at DxOMark. HTC is continuing to tweak and improve the 10’s camera post-launch, though, which is good to see considering how important a smartphone camera is to so many people.
If you’ve got an unlocked HTC 10 in the US, be sure to let us know when you get this update!
