With the OnePlus 3 expected to debut at the end of the second quarter, the leaks of OnePlus’s next flagship Android phone are starting to trickle out.
Several images that claim to show the OnePlus 3 have been shared by Twitter user @Krispitech after originating on Chinese social network Weibo. The images show a black slab of a phone with an oblong fingerprint reader sitting beneath its display, a camera above the display and what looks to be a notification light next to that camera. Around back is a protruding camera with a flash beneath it and some antenna lines.
While there aren’t any spec details mentioned with these leaked images, other rumors have suggested that the OnePlus 3 could pack a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras, and 4GB of RAM. While there’s no concrete evidence to support those rumored features, they do sound like reasonable upgrades over last year’s OnePlus 2.
If the OnePlus 3 is still on track to debut at the end of the second quarter, we’ll see it by the end of June. What do you think of these alleged OnePlus 3 leaks? Will you be interested in OnePlus’s new phone if these images and specs hold true?
