Many of the spec details of the Gear Fit 2 are still a mystery, but a few features have been tipped in rumors. It’s said that the Gear Fit 2 will feature a 1.84-inch Super AMOLED display — the same size as its predecessor — and judging by the leaked images, it’ll display its info vertically. Also rumored to be on board is a GPS chip for tracking your runs, bike rides, and other activities. Finally, the Gear Fit 2 is expected to be more curved and ergonomic than the first Gear Fit.
It’s now been more than two years since the original Gear Fit debuted, so that model is definitely overdue for a refresh. Does a fitness-centric wearable like the Gear Fit 2 interest you, or would you prefer a more traditional smart wearable like the Gear S2?
