Bad news, HTC One M8 and One M9 owners on AT&T: You’re going to have to wait a bit longer than expected for your Android 6.0 updates.
Mo Versi, HTC’s VP of Product Management, has revealed that the Android 6.0 updates for the AT&T versions of the One M8 and One M9 have hit a “slight delay.” Exactly what happened isn’t known, but HTC has the updates in its labs and is aiming to get them approved for rollout within the next couple of weeks.
HTC One M8 & M9 AT&T owners - there's been a slight delay on M OS. We're in lab but looking at approval within the next couple weeks.

We’ve already seen both the One M8 and One M9 get their Marshmallow updates on Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon, so AT&T owners are probably getting a bit antsy for their own helpings of Android 6.0. Thankfully, it doesn’t sound like whatever caused this delay will push the updates back too far, and hopefully they’ll begin rolling out by mid-May. Stay tuned.
