It’s not often that the Amazon Echo is discounted, but today the Alexa-enabled device is indeed on sale.
The Amazon Echo is now available for $153.71, which is $26.28 off of its regular asking price. This deal is only available today, April 19, which means you’ve got less than 24 hours to pull the trigger.
This deal is proving to be popular, as Amazon says that as of this writing, it’ll have more Echo stock on April 24. New orders will ship on that date, but the good news is that even though it’s backordered, you can still get the sale price on a new Echo.
The Amazon Echo perplexed many folks when it launched in November 2014, as it was unclear how useful the Echo would be and how well Amazon would support it. It turns out that Amazon has supported it very well, though, frequently adding new features like Uber and Spotify support.
