Verizon is no stranger to offering free data promotions, and today it kicked off a similar promo aimed at Android users.
Starting today, Verizon customers can get 2GB of data for free after using Android Pay to pay for goods in stores. You’ll get 1GB of data after your first payment, and you’ll get another gig after your third payment.
The 2GB of free data will be good for two billing cycles. Verizon says that this promo will end on June 14, so you’ve got a couple of months to take advantage of it.
Two gigabytes of extra data is nothing to sneeze at, especially when all that you have to do is buy a few things with Android Pay. There’s no minimum that you have to spend to for these purchases, so you could always buy some gum or a can of soda or something.
