With just a couple of days to go before the HTC 10’s official debut, the leaks of HTC’s next flagship device just keep on coming.
New photos that claim to show the HTC 10 have been shared by GSM Helpdesk. The images show off the black version of the device, giving us clear looks at its back and front, including its capacitive navigation buttons and combo fingerprint reader/home button.
Today’s report also echoes many of the specs that’ve been mentioned in previous leaks, like the 5.2-inch 2560x1440 display, 12-megapixel UltraPixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera (both with optical image stabilization), a USB Type-C port, and a Snapdragon 820 processor. GSM Helpdesk also claims that the HTC 10 sports stereo BoomSound speakers. While it doesn’t look like the HTC 10 will have dual front-facing speakers like those found on the HTC One M9 and other One M phones, it’s been suggested that it will have a speaker in its earpiece and then a second on the bottom, which would seem to line up with an official HTC teaser.
The HTC 10 is expected to debut at 8:00 am ET on Tuesday, April 12. If the leaks turn out to be true, it should offer many of the features that you’d expect from an Android flagship in 2016, but there will likely be a lot of folks interested to see how well its 12-megapixel UltraPixel camera and unique BoomSound speakers perform. Thankfully, it won’t be too much longer before the HTC 10 is officially official.
