On the eve of the HTC 10’s official debut, a video that could be shown as part of HTC’s big event has leaked out.
An HTC 10 promotional video has found its way online. The video originally appeared on Youku, a Chinese video hosting site, and it’s now made its way onto YouTube. The clip has the feel of a manufacturer-made promo, showing the HTC 10 being cut from a slab of metal and focusing on several specific features, like its USB Type-C port, its power/lock and volume buttons, and its color options. The video ends by showing the name “HTC 10” and the “power of 10” tagline that HTC has been using in its teasers for its new phone.
There’s not much in the way of new information about the HTC 10 that’s revealed in today’s leak, but it does add credence to previous leaks regarding its design and its name. It’s rumored that the HTC 10 will include features like a 5.1-inch 2560x1440 display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a fingerprint reader. The back of the phone will reportedly be home to a 12-megapixel UltraPixel camera, and inside is rumored to be a 3000mAh battery.
