Leave it to T-Mobile to come up with one of the most ridiculously entertaining April Fool’s pranks this year. The “un-carrier” presented their latest “innovation” on April 1, Binge On Up. It’s basically a headset with a phone mount. It lets users stream and watch all the videos they want, while doing whatever they want because hey, why should your daily life keep you from binge-watching? The device promotes their current Binge On feature, and claims to save both users’ data and health. The Binge On feature already allows customers to stream video without using their data, while the Binge On Up device lets users watch videos hands-free. This apparently saves them from such “ailments” as Distracted Walking, Netflix Neck and Watcher’s Elbow.

The prank was a huge hit with many media sites and television shows, and got featured on several tweets:

Speaking of the colorful CEO, T-Mobile also announced the release of Binge John, where you can get as much of John Legere as you want without using any data.

We’re all for binge-watching, but Binge On Up is definitely not the way to do it! Although some have expressed that they’d love the device to be more than just a prank product:
