Last month we saw the Verizon version of the HTC One M9 get its Android 6.0 update, and now we know when the One M8 will get its own taste of Marshmallow.
HTC’s Mo Versi says that the Android 6.0 update for the Verizon One M8 has received technical approval and that the update is scheduled to begin rolling out Monday, March 7. Verizon’s software updates page confirms this rollout date, but doesn’t yet have any info about the update itself.

As for what’ll be included with the One M8’s upgrade to Android 6.0, we should see Marshmallow goodies like Google Now on Tap, Doze battery enhancements, and improved app permissions. The good news is that with the update scheduled to roll out in just a few days, it won’t be long before we can actually try the One M8’s Android 6.0 update for ourselves and find out exactly what’s included and how it performs.
