Another week, another Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview update.
Microsoft says that it’s now pushing Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build 10586.122 to both the Slow and Fast Ring. This is another Cumulative Update, meaning that it’s focused on fixing bugs rather than introducing new features. The fixes in this update include improving the speed at which video thumbnails appear in portrait mode, improvements to alarm reliability, improved video recording audio, and improved overall OS reliability.
Here’s Microsoft’s full changelog for the 10586.122 update:
This update also enables a few new devices to join the Insider Preview program. Following the addition of the Alcatel Fierce XL last week, today’s update adds support for the MCJ Madosma Q501, BLU Win HD W510U, BLU Win HD LTE X150Q.
While there may not be any exciting new features in this new update, it sounds like it’s got some pretty noteworthy bug fixes, including improved OS stability. So if you’re in the Insider Preview, you’ll probably want to grab this update as soon as you can. To check for it on your device, go into Settings > Update & security > Phone update.
