When LG announced the G5 a couple of days ago, it talked up the device’s features and accessories, but didn’t spill much information about a release date. Today a bit more info has been revealed thanks to Best Buy.
The big box retailer has announced that it’ll begin taking pre-orders for the LG G5 starting March 18. That would mean a pre-order period of a couple of weeks, followed by a launch in early April. Unfortunately, Best Buy’s page doesn’t make any mention of the G5’s price.
All four major US carriers have committed to offering the LG G5, but launch and pricing details will be shared later. Unfortunately for folks digging the G5 and its modular design, they’re going to have to wait a bit longer for their new phone than Galaxy S7 fans will have to wait for theirs. At least now we’ve got an idea of when the LG G5 will go up for pre-order, though.
