After being the subject of spec leaks and then appearing in leaked renders and photos, the Samsung Galaxy S7 has made another jump in leak appearances: video.
A quick video that shows the Galaxy S7 in the flesh has been shared by Android Authority. The clip is only 15 seconds long, but we do get a good look at the GS7’s front and rear. As shown in previous leaks, this Galaxy S7 looks largely similar to the Galaxy S7, but with small refinements like curved edges on its backside and a rear camera that looks to be pretty much flush with the phone’s back.
Also included in this leak are a couple of photos of the Galaxy S7. One photo of the phone’s front also shows its combination SIM and microSD slot, adding support to past leaks that’ve claimed that Samsung is giving the GS7 the microSD slot that it omitted from the GS6.
With just days to go before the Galaxy S7’s official reveal, it’s looking likely that the device will largely be a refinement of the Galaxy S6. That’s not a bad thing, though, because while the GS7 may look like the GS6 at first glance, there are expected to be many improvements to make the 7 better than the 6. Those include a backside with curved edges to make the phone easier to hold, a rear camera that doesn’t stick out from the phone’s body, and a microSD slot for adding more storage.
Samsung is expected to officially reveal the Galaxy S7 on February 21, with a launch rumored for March 11.
