Now that the HTC One M10 has had its specs leaked and shown its face in a photo, many folks are wondering when the thing will actually launch. Now we might have some release info for HTC’s next flagship, too.
Evan Blass reports that HTC will launch the One M10 in the US the week of May 9. The exact date is still up in the air, but this tidbit does narrow down the One M10’s possible launch window.
It’s not clear when HTC will actually announce the One M10, but with its past to One M flagships, the launch has followed the announcement pretty closely. The One M8 actually hit stores the same day that it was announced, and the One M9 came to the US a few weeks after its announcement. If that trend continues, we could see the One M10 debut sometime in April or early May. Launching the One M10 shortly after its announcement helps to keep excitement for the device high and would probably lead to more sales than a longer window between announcement and launch, so HTC would be smart to keep that window short.
