Earlier today, we got what might be our first real life look at the Samsung Galaxy S7. Now an image that claims to show its edgy sibling has surfaced, too.
Weibo user JKwan has shared a photo of a phone that, according to the benchmarking app that it’s running, is the SM-G9350. Thanks to a recent FCC filing, we know that that means that this is the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. The phone includes the dual-edge display that we saw on the Galaxy S6 edge as well as a home button like the one that appeared in a Galaxy S7 edge render leak.
The Galaxy S7 edge is tipped to have largely the same spec list as the Galaxy S7, like 4GB of RAM, a 12-megapixel rear camera, 32/64GB of storage, and a microSD slot. However, two areas where the phones will reportedly differ are their screens and battery sizes. The Galaxy S7 edge is expected to have a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 Super AMOLED display while the GS7 will have a 5.1-inch screen, and the GS7 edge is rumored to include a 3600mAh battery whereas the GS7 will reportedly have a 3000mAh battery.
