A couple of months after introducing LTE Plus, Sprint has launched the service in many more markets throughout the US.
LTE Plus is now available in more than 150 markets across the US. Some of the recently lit markets include Boulder, Colo.; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Cleveland, Ohio; and Syracuse, N.Y. The LTE Plus uses three bands of spectrum — 800MHz, 1.9GHz, and 2.5GHz — along with technologies like carrier aggregation and beamforming that help the service to reach farther and offer faster speeds.

Sprint also touted today that its LTE Plus improvements have improved network speeds in many markets. For example, the big yellow carrier says that network speeds in Detroit have grown from 5.7Mbps in the first half of 2014 to 20.1Mbps in the second half of 2015. To take advantage of the LTE Plus coverage, you’ll need a compatible handset, such as the iPhone 6s, HTC One A9, and Samsung Galaxy S6.
