If you’re eagerly awaiting the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7, you may want to make sure that you don’t have any appointments on March 11.
Evan Blass says that it’s “starting to look like” Samsung will launch the Galaxy S7 in the US on March 11. If you’re curious, that’s a Friday, meaning that you’d have the whole weekend to play with your shiny new Galaxy.

While Samsung hasn’t officially announced a Galaxy S7 event, it’s expected that they’ll unveil the GS7 near the end of February. If the GS7 is announced at the end of February and launched on March 11, that’d be an even quicker turnaround than the Galaxy S6. That’d be a good thing, because having a short time between a new device’s announcement and launch means that there’s less time for interested consumers to lose excitement and less time for rivals to launch new competition.
