Days after the Microsoft Lumia 550 finally made its way to the US, it’s been revealed that another new Windows 10 Mobile device will soon arrive stateside.
The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL will hit T-Mobile in the “coming weeks” with Windows 10 Mobile in tow. The Fierce XL will be “affordably priced,” says Alcatel OneTouch, and it’s coming exclusively to T-Mo.
In terms of specs, the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL is packing a 5.5-inch 1280x720 display and 2-megapixel camera on its face, as well as an 8-megapixel camera on its backside. Inside of its blue shell lives a 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD slot, and a 2500mAh battery. The Fierce XL also supports T-Mobile band 12 LTE and Wi-Fi Calling.
The Fierce XL is the first Windows 10 Mobile phone for both Alcatel OneTouch and T-Mobile. It’s good to see both companies showing W10M some love, because while it may not be the biggest mobile OS in the world, I’m sure that there are some Magenta customers that will appreciate a new Windows phone hitting their carrier.
