Remember last weekend when Verizon offered free iPhone and Galaxy memory upgrades? That deal was only good for the weekend, but the same deal has returned this weekend.
Verizon is now offering to double the memory of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus purchases, meaning that you can get a 128GB model for the price of the 64GB version. If Android is more your thing, Verizon is also doubling the memory of Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, and Note 5 purchases from 32GB to 64GB.
Rounding out the memory upgrade offers is a deal on the DROID Turbo 2. It’s only available with 32GB of built-in storage, but Verizon will give you a 32GB microSD card if you buy a Turbo 2 to give you 64GB of total storage.
All of these memory upgrade offers are only valid this weekend. It’s also worth noting that they only apply to smartphones bought on a new monthly payment plan.
Finally, Verizon is still offering $300 when you trade in your smartphone and switch to Verizon from another carrier or add a new line to an existing account. The smartphone that you trade in must be in good working condition. Verizon also says that the $300 you’ll be getting will come in the form of a VZW gift card.
New smartphones can download graphically intensive games, capture high resolution photos and videos, and more, and so having plenty of storage to carry all of that stuff is important. Verizon’s deals help to ensure that your new phone can hold all of your goodies by giving you double the storage for free. So if you’ve been thinking about picking up a new iPhone, Galaxy, or DROID Turbo 2, this weekend is a good time to pull the trigger.
