Samsung hasn’t been shy about giving away goodies to get people to try Samsung Pay, and recently it launched another new offer for its mobile payment service.
The Samsung Celebrate 50 Years of Football promo will give you $200 off a purchase from Samsung’s online store when you buy a Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, or Note 5 and then activate Samsung Pay. To get the $200 Reward eCertificate, you’ll need to register at least one credit or debit card. The promo will run through January 20, and you’ll have to use your $200 reward by March 15.
By registering one card with Samsung Pay, you’ll also be able to enter a sweepstakes to win one of five grand prizes that are valued at $23,000 each. The prize includes a five day, four night trip for two to the NFL Players Association VIP party in San Francisco, Calif., which will take place on February 4, 2016. This trip will include a roundtrip airfare to San Francisco, a four-night hotel stay, two passes for the VIP party, a souvenir package, and a check for $6,900.
Samsung has been making some improvements to Samsung Pay ever since the service launched in September. Most recently, it added support for 50 retailer gift cards, which not only makes Samsung Pay better suited as a wallet replacement but also can let folks that don’t have a compatible credit card give Samsung Pay a try. Now Samsung is continuing to push its mobile payment platform by giving new users a $200 reward for its online store, and while it’s only good from January 1 to March 15, there are probably at least a couple of goodies that you can find in Samsung’s online shop that you could put the $200 toward.
In addition to these Samsung Pay promos, Samsung today launched a new offer that’s tied to the Galaxy Tab S2. If you buy Samsung’s new tablet between December 13 and December 26, you’ll get a code good for a one-year subscription to the two stream Netflix subscription. This code can be applied to new or existing Netflix accounts. Samsung does note that it’s only got 9,000 Netflix codes to give out, though, so if this offer piques your interest, you may want to buy that Tab S2 sooner rather than later.
