Earlier this week, the BlackBerry Priv briefly appeared in BlackBerry’s official store with a price of $749 and a ship date of November 16. Now the phone is back, but this time it’s cheaper and is shipping sooner.
The BlackBerry Priv is live once again in BlackBerry’s online store, and this time it’s carrying a price tag of $699, a full $50 less than when it was accidentally put up earlier this week. BlackBerry says that orders of the Priv will begin to ship on November 6.
Outside of the US, the Priv is available for pre-order in the UK for £559.00 incl. VAT as well as Canada for $899. Orders from both will ship starting November 6.

The BlackBerry Priv is a bit easier to swallow at $699 than $749. Of course, that doesn’t mean that everyone will now be able to buy the Priv unlocked. The good news for both consumers and BlackBerry is that BlackBerry CEO John Chen previously said that he’s working with all major carriers on the distribution of the Priv, so it may soon be available on an installment plan or two-year contract from your operator of choice.an
