If you’re lucky enough to have already received a Nexus 5X, you should be getting an update soon if you haven’t already. Google is pushing a 42MB update to the Nexus 5X that bumps the phone up to build MDB08I, the latest build that’s available on Google’s Nexus factory images page.

So what’s included in this update? That much is unknown, as neither Google nor LG have made any official announcements regarding the update. There are likely some bug fixes included, though.

Most folks are just receiving their Nexus 5X units today, so that means that those units will probably get an update just as they’re being set up. So if you’ve got a Nexus 5X on the way, be aware that you’ll probably have an update to install shortly after powering it on.
