Earlier this year, BLU Products introduced the Studio Energy, an Android smartphone that’s all about the battery. Fast-forward to today and BLU is doubling down on battery-centric smartphones with two new devices.
BLU today introduced two new phones in its Energy series of battery-focused handsets: the Studio Energy 2 and the Energy X. The Studio Energy 2 has the beefier battery of the two, offering a 5000mAh juice pack, but the Energy X has a 4000mAh battery that’s still a respectable size.
Here are the full spec lists for both of BLU’s new phones:

BLU Energy X
If either of these new Energy phones sound interesting to you, then good news: They’re both available from Amazon right now. The Studio Energy 2 is available in Midnight Grey and Ceramic White with Rose Gold color options for $179 unlocked, while the Energy X is being sold in Midnight Grey and Luxury Gold colors for $109 unlocked.
Obviously these new BLU phones are meant for folks that value battery life above all else. While we’ve seen several devices with some large batteries lately — like the Galaxy Note 5 and G4 with their 3000mAh batteries — we rarely see anything at 4000mAh or above. Both of these new BLU phones have larger batteries than many other phones around, and now that there are two Energy devices, you’ve got a choice: Do you want a large battery with a body that’s still somewhat slim? Get the Energy X. Care about battery life above all else, including thickness? The Studio Energy 2 is for you.
