September may have come and gone without any Sprint Direct 2 You expansions, but October has brought with it support for the Direct 2 You setup service in several new markets.
Sprint today announced that Direct 2 You is now live in Charlotte, N.C.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Las Vegas, Nev.; Nashville, Tenn.; New Orleans, La.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Salt Lake City, Utah. Sprint says that it plans to expand Direct 2 You in 2016, but it didn’t tease any new cities that’ll be gaining access to the service.
With Direct 2 You, Sprint will send a rep to meet you at your home, work, a coffee shop, or some other location and spend the time to help you set up your new phone, transfer your contacts and data, and personalize the device. Sprint says that it’s gotten a “positive customer reaction” to the service, and it must be doing okay for the big yellow carrier, because Sprint continues to roll it out to more cities.
