Tomorrow is the event at which we expect to see the LG V10 and its secondary ticker display officially revealed. But surprise, surprise: the V10 has been fully revealed ahead of the show.
Evan Blass has shared some official-looking renders of the LG V10 that show the device’s auxiliary ticker display. In one image, the ticker simply reads “Be You,” while another one shows what appear to be app shortcuts.

Meanwhile, the back of the phone has an interesting textured pattern as well as the rear-mounted volume and power buttons that LG devices have become known for. Finally, there’s a rear camera with a large housing as well as dual flash and laser autofocus modules on either side.
Unfortunately, today’s leak doesn’t really shed much light on the question that many of us have about the V10: Exactly what does LG have planned for that ticker display? Sure, it looks like it’ll show app shortcuts, but hopefully LG has more planned for it. Perhaps it’ll show news alerts, weather, and more, similar to the edges of Samsung’s Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 edge+.
The good news is that all of our questions should be resolved tomorrow. Stay tuned.
