We’ve got a bit of an iPhone 6s pricing battle going on right now between T-Mobile and Sprint. First T-Mo announced plans to offer the new iPhone for $20 per month, then Sprint countered with a $15 per month offer, and then T-Mo came back with a $5 per month deal. Now Sprint has fired back with an even cheaper offer.
Starting Friday, September 25, Sprint will sell you a 16GB iPhone 6s for just $1 per month with an iPhone 6 trade-in. Yep, just a single dollar. If you’d like more storage, you can get a 64GB iPhone 6s for $5.77 per month or a 128GB model for $10.53 per month.
The iPhone 6s Plus is also included in this deal. The larger-screened iPhone can be had for $5 per month for 16GB, $9.77 per month for 64GB, or $14.53 per month for 128GB.
Sprint will also cut you a deal if you’ve got an iPhone 5s to trade in. If you’ve got 2013’s iPhone flagship, you can get a 16GB iPhone 6s for $10 per month or a 16GB iPhone 6s Plus for $14 per month.
Finally, if you’ve got “any other smartphone,” you can get a 16GB iPhone 6s for $15 per month. That price will run through December 31.
This new offer is part of Sprint’s iPhone Forever lease program, which lets you trade in your old iPhone for a new one every year. The deal will run “for a limited time.” While you’re not going to own the iPhone’s that you get through iPhone Forever, this $1 deal is a super cheap way to get Apple’s newest hardware this Friday. The only question now is: Will T-Mobile find some way to keep this chain going and fire back with another offer before tomorrow’s launch?
