Last night we got our first good look at the HTC One A9, an upcoming Android phone that’s been the subject of a lot of rumors and interest lately. And now thanks to a new leak, we’re getting a clear look at a One A9 in the wild.
A Sina Weibo user has posted a photo that purportedly shows the HTC One A9 resting on a table. We can see the phone’s front-facing camera up top as well as its fingerprint reader that’s below the display. On that display, which is said to be a 5-inch 1920x1080 AMOLED panel, we can see some specs listed. They include a Snapdragon 617 processor, 5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage.
Those specs line up with past reports about the One A9’s feature set, which is also said to include 13-megapixel rear and 4-megapixel UltraPixel front cameras, a microSD card slot, and Android 6.0. So yeah, the One A9 is definitely looking like a mid-range phone, which is sure to disappoint some folks hoping for a new HTC flagship. The One A9 looks like a nice phone, though, and it could serve to help HTC’s bottom line.
