If you’re not yet an Amazon Prime member, Friday may be the day to finally take the plunge.
On Friday, September 25, Amazon will be discounting its yearly Prime membership, knocking the price from $99 to $67. The offer will start at 12:00 am ET on September 25 and run through 11:59 pm PT. The deal is part of Amazon’s five Emmy wins for its series Transparent.
Amazon Prime is perhaps best known for offering free two-day shipping, but there are several other benefits included with the service. Prime Music lets you stream more than one million songs for free, Prime Video offers free streaming movies and TV shows, and Prime Photos gives you unlimited photo storage that you can access on your computer or your phone.
It’s not often that Amazon discounts its Prime memberships, so this upcoming sale is a big deal. Amazon's announcement says that "New members can sign up for this limited-time Prime offer at Amazon.com/TransparentPrime," so it sounds like the offer might only be available to folks that aren't already signed up for Prime. If you’re not already an Amazon Prime member, this is definitely an offer to consider.
