Good news, Virgin Mobile customers: You’re getting more data for the same amount of money! Virgin Mobile is boosting the amount of high-speed 3G/4G data included in its unlimited plans. Here are the plans and the amount of data that they now offer:
Those plans used to offer 250MB, 1GB, and 3GB of high-speed data, respectively, so these are big jumps. And if you need more high-speed data, you can always add it at a rate of $5 for 1GB or $10 for 2GB.
In addition to boosting its high-speed data allotments, Virgin Mobile is launching the LG Tribute 2. This Android 5.1 phone has a 4.5-inch 854x480 display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 5-megapixel rear camera and secondary front-facing cam, 8GB of storage, microSD slot, 1GB of RAM, and a 1900mAh battery. The Tribute 2 is now available for $99.99.
