When the Moto X Force leaked earlier this month, I speculated that the device could make its way to Verizon as the rumored DROID Turbo 2. Now a new leak has shown that that’s likely going to be the case.
@upleaks has shared a new image that shows a device similar to the Moto X Force (codename Motorola Bounce) that previously leaked, but this model includes Verizon and DROID branding. Perhaps the most notable change here is that Motorola appears to have split the bottom speaker cutout in order to fit Verizon’s branding on the face of the phone.
It’s said that the DROID Turbo 2 will arrive in October. The rumored specs list for the device include a shatterproof 5.43-inch 2560x1440 display, Snapdragon 810 processor, 21-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 32/64GB of storage, 3GB of RAM, and a 3760mAh battery. Those specs seem like they’d be a good fit for a follow-up to the DROID Turbo, which had its own 2560x1440 display and 21-megapixel rear camera.
It’s rumored that Motorola and Verizon will launch a DROID Maxx 2 this year as well.
