The LG Nexus 5 2015 has been the more heavily leaked of the two upcoming Nexus phones, and today that trend continues with another leaked image of LG and Google’s upcoming smartphone.
A newly leaked image purportedly gives us a clear look at the back of the new LG Nexus phone. The device shown in this image lines up nicely with the one that appeared last month, boasting a rear camera that looks to be raised as well as a dual LED flash and what may be a laser auto focus sensor. Below the camera is a fingerprint reader, and below that is some Nexus branding.
Unfortunately, we can only see the back of the LG Nexus in this new leak, so there’s no confirmation of the device’s rumored USB Type-C port or front-facing speakers.
The LG Nexus 5 2015 will reportedly include a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 12.3-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 3GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage, and a 2700mAh battery. If true, the device will be a nice step up from 2013’s LG Nexus 5, and its 5.2-inch screen ought to be a refreshing change for folks that found the Nexus 6 and its 6-inch display simply gargantuan.
Google is expected to unveil this LG Nexus as well as a Huawei-made Nexus phone on September 29.
