We’re expecting a lot of new mobile goodies from IFA this year, including products from Motorola, Huawei, Samsung, and more. Now we can add HTC to that list, too.

HTC today took to its Weibo page to tease what looks to be a new smartphone reveal on September 6. The image what looks to be the back of a smartphone, but it’s tough to make out any of the device’s features because of the shading and the purple lightning surrounding the product.

The HTC One A9/Aero is the HTC device that’s been dominating the rumor mill lately, and so that’s the device that springs to mind when you wonder what HTC might be teasing. The device in this image does look a bit like the rear of the alleged HTC Aero that leaked out last month, but we won’t definitively know what HTC is teasing until it reveals the device on September 6. The good news is that that date is just 5 days away, so we don’t have much longer to wait.
