We now know the date on which Apple will reveal the iPhone 6s.
Apple just sent out invitations for an event on September 9. The images show the top of an Apple logo and some colorful waves that are similar to what Siri looks like on iOS 9 and the Apple Watch. The caption for the invite reads “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” The event will take place at 10:00 am PT at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.
While Apple isn't saying exactly what it will show at its September 9 event, past iPhone models have been revealed in early September, so it's likely that we'll see the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus there. The new iPhone models are expected to include Force Touch displays, upgraded internals, a bend-resistant body, and upgraded cameras. Apple will also reportedly show a refreshed Apple TV at its event.
