Heads up, Verizon HTC One M9 owners, because a big update is headed your way tomorrow.

HTC’s Mo Versi says that the Verizon One M9’s Android 5.1 update has been approved and that it’ll start rolling out tomorrow, August 20. Besides a bump to Android 5.1, the update will also bring a patch for the Stagefright exploit and will enable band 3 and band 7 for roaming.

The other three major US carriers pushed Android 5.1 to their versions of the One M9 in July, so it’s good to see that the Verizon model is finally getting its update tomorrow. And it sounds like it’s going to be a good one, so you Verizon One M9 owners should definitely keep an eye out for it. Just remember that you can manually check for updates by going into Settings > System update > Check for new system update.
