If you’re a Sprint customer that’s thinking about picking up either the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6 edge+, you’ll want to be aware of a promo that the big yellow carrier is planning to run.
A leaked promotional flyer has revealed that Sprint is planning to knock $200 off the price of a Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6 edge+ when you trade in a working smartphone. You’ll have to buy the new Galaxy device on a two-year contract, Sprint Easy Pay, or Sprint Lease plan. In addition to the phone, Sprint will give you a free Galaxy Tab 4 with a two-year contract.
The promo flyer says that Sprint’s promo will end on August 27. That suggests that the phones will launch before that date, otherwise it’d be kind of tough to take advantage of the promo.
Samsung is expected to take the wraps off of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ — as well as a mystery third device — at an event tomorrow. While leaks seem to have revealed most of the straight-up spec details of these phones, I’m sure that Samsung’s still got a few other goodies up its sleeve, so tomorrow’s event should be exciting.
Our own Marco Hanna will be live at Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 event tomorrow, so keep it locked to PhoneDog for all of the details of Samsung’s next big things.
