With less than a week to go before Samsung’s big Note 5 event, it looks like the date for the other big fall mobile event has surfaced.
Apple will hold its big fall event the week of September 7, reports BuzzFeed, with September 9 being cited as the most likely day that the shindig will fall on. The event will reportedly include new iPhone hardware with a Force Touch display and improved camera, new iPad devices, and a new Apple TV.
If this rumor is true, Apple’s upcoming event will take place exactly one year after the 2014 fall event that brought us the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Apple has introduced the past several iPhone models in early September, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the iPhone 6s follow that trend. It appears as though we’ll also see the long-awaited Apple TV refresh, which is expected to offer completely new hardware with updated internals, an app store, and a new remote with touchpad input.
