UPDATE: Add USB Type-C to the list of the Huawei Nexus phone's rumored specs. In response to "USB-C?" being asking about Huawei's Nexus phone, @evleaks says "Yes."
Following two reports that claimed that Huawei will create a new Nexus smartphone for 2015, some alleged spec details for the still-unannounced device have surfaced.
Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, has shared a few details on the upcoming Huawei Nexus phone. Blass says that the device will feature 5.7-inch 2560x1440 display, Snapdragon 820 processor, metal body, and a fingerprint reader. The phone will reportedly ship in Q4 2015.

While still unconfirmed, some of the features tipped in today’s leak would make sense. For example, the Nexus 6 has a 2560x1440 screen resolution, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a 2015 Nexus have that too. And with Android M’s native fingerprint reader support, it’d make sense for Google to include the feature in a Nexus phone to show developers how that feature is done. Overall this Huawei Nexus is sounding like a pretty nice piece of kit, especially with a premium metal construction.
It’s also worth noting that Google is rumored to be prepping two Nexus phones for 2015. The first is this Huawei device, and the second is an LG-made phone that’ll allegedly have a 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 808, and 2700mAh battery.
