Earlier this month, images surfaced that claimed to give us a blurry glimpse at Motorola’s third generation Moto G. Now the device has surfaced yet again, but thankfully the images are much better.
A new report out of TechnoBuffalo claims to include images of the front and rear and of the Moto G (3rd Gen.). While the previously-leaked images of the new Moto G weren’t of the highest quality, these new renders do appear to line up with what we saw earlier this month, including the elongated camera housing on the device’s rear.
As with most leaks, it's worth noting that nothing is official until Motorola makes it so. This device looks like last month’s leak, it’s possible that these images were just created by someone that looked at those old photos. One weird tidbit about today’s leak is the messages icon in the device’s dock, which doesn’t look like the icon used in previous Motorola device images.
In terms of specs, this new Moto G is rumored to include a 5-inch display, Snapdragon 410, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a microSD slot, and 4G LTE. The phone is expected to arrive with Android 5.1.1 in tow. However, it’s not known when the phone might launch.
