It’s not quite Update Wednesday, but that hasn’t stopped Google from pushing out a notable update to one of its major Android apps.

An update to Google Maps for Android is now rolling out with a feature that will alert you before you begin navigating to a place that’ll be closed by the time that you get there. Sometimes when you’re excited to head somewhere or you’re just going somewhere new, you don’t look at the hours of the place that you’re headed, so this new feature is sure to save some users from disappointment.

In addition to the closing time warning, this new Google Maps update will show your car rental reservations when you search for “my events” in the app, just like it can with flight and hotel info. Google pulls this info from you Gmail account.

The Google Maps update also adds some unspecified bug fixes.
