If the LG Watch Urbane and its round, metal body appeals to you, you might want to get an extra charger when you get around to strapping one onto your wrist. Now Google will happily sell you one.
The LG Watch Urbane Charging Cradle is now available from the Google Store for $19.99. Just as its name says, the LG Watch Urbane Charging Cradle is a wireless charging dock for LG’s latest Android Wear smartwatch. The package includes a USB cable so that you can plug the charger into a computer or some other USB outlet.
While a charging cradle may not be the most exciting product ever, the dock looks nice, and I’m sure that LG Watch Urbane owners are glad to have easy access to spare chargers if they want ‘em. If you have an LG Watch Urbane or plan on buying one, you can now get a spare charging cradle and get it shipped to you for free.
In other Google Store news, the Samsung Gear Live appears to have been pulled from Google’s online shop. The wearable is no longer included in the Android Wear section of the Google Store, and while it can be accessed via a direct link, the page says that “the Samsung Gear Live is no longer available for purchase.” Time to pour one out for one of the original Android Wear smartwatches.
