T-Mobile has already confirmed that it’ll offer the LG G4, but so far the only launch timeframe that the magenta carrier has given is “spring.” However, a promotional Twitter account may have given us a more precise launch date.
T-Mobile is currently driving around the country and giving consumers the chance to try out the LG G4 as part of a “G4 Preview” program. The promo team even has its own Twitter account to announce where it is and where it’s going. Today, though, it responded to a question about the LG G4’s release date by saying “The #LG #G4 will be in stores June 2nd.” The tweet has since been deleted.
It’s worth noting that while the G4 Preview Tour is officially run by T-Mobile, the Twitter account is for promotional purposes, so this shouldn’t be considered an official announcement. That said, Sprint and U.S. Cellular have said that they’ll begin selling the LG G4 in June, so a June 2 release from T-Mo is a possibility. Now that we’re halfway through May, we should hear something official from T-Mo if June 2 is indeed the day that it plans to unleash the G4 upon the masses.
