Clear your schedule for June 2, U.S.-based mobile fans, because there’s an event going down on that date.

Huawei’s U.S. arm is hosting an event in New York City on June 2. The event will kick off at 10:00 am, and while Huawei isn’t saying exactly what it’s got planned, the company has teased that we’ll see what it’s “unlocking next.” The image included with the invitation shows small bits of what looks to be a gold and white smartphone.

So what might Huawei have planned? That’s a mystery right now, but there’s a chance that we could see a variant of the new Huawei P8. When Huawei held its global P8 event in April, it said that a more affordable version of that device would be coming to the U.S., so this U.S.-centric event could be used to show that P8 variant.
