Another day, another Lollipop update.
AT&T is pushing Android 5.0.1 to its Samsung Galaxy S4 Active starting today, April 21. The update is a biggie, weighing in at around 1GB in size, and so you’re going to need to be on Wi-Fi to grab it. Here’s AT&T’s changelog for the update:
Android 5.0 Lollipop Highlights
To try and grab the update, you can go into Settings > More > About device > Software update > Check for updates Once you’ve updated, you’ll be on Android 5.0.1 and build LRX22C.I537UCUCOC6.
Because AT&T pushed Android 5.0 to the regular version of the Galaxy S4 earlier this month, it’s not terribly shocking to see the GS4 Active get the update shortly after. That said, it’s still nice to see a nearly two-year-old smartphone getting updated to Lollipop.
