Unannounced LG Windows Phone device leaks

LG was around at the start of Windows Phone’s life with the Quantum and Optimus 7, but since then the Life’s Good crew hasn’t exactly been a major player in Microsoft’s mobile ecosystem. If a new leak is to be believed, though, LG might finally be rejoining the Live Tile pack.

An image shared by Neowin claims to show a new LG-made Windows Phone device with Verizon branding. Details on the phone are light, but we can see that the device is running Windows Phone 8.1 with virtual navigation buttons.

Verizon used to be a Windows Phone desert, but things have gotten a bit better lately thanks to the launches of the Lumia Icon, HTC One M8 for Windows, and Samsung ATIV SE. Now it appears that an LG Windows Phone device will be hitting Verizon’s shelves soon, too, and while it remains to be seen whether the device will be high-end, entry-level, or somewhere in-between, but I’m sure that Microsoft and Windows Phone fans everywhere would agree that more WP devices is always a good thing.
